Our Bling Binder range offers an innovative and easy-to-use solution for adding metallic color to your projects. Our high-quality and elastic metalic print pastes guarantee excellent shine and elasticity. With Bling Silver and Bling Gold varients, you can add pigment to achieve your desired shade of metallic.
1. MIXING PIGMENT COLOUR:
For the mixing ratio of pigment colour to printing binder, you should not exceed up to 6% of Eco-Pigments. This means you can mix up to 60 grams of color per 1 kg of printing binder. Exceeding this ratio will impair the fixing and may leave surplus color on the surface, leading to discoloration in the water during the first wash.
2. PRINTING:
The recommended polyester monofilament screen mesh range is between 32-62T
(86-156). Stencils should be made with water-resistant emulsion, and screens must be cleaned thoroughly after printing to avoid permanent blockage. The specifics for the stencil include a water-resistant emulsion type, with standard EOM thickness and a contact distance of 3-4mm off.
3. DRYING & CURING:
For drying and curing, the printed pattern requires heat application for fixing. The curing temperature and time are specified as 2-2.5 minutes at 165°C (330°F). This process completes the chemical reaction for cross-linking. There are also alternative options with the MAGNAPRINT additives, such as adding Cross Linker 100 to the print paste, which can act as a curing agent if adequate heating or baking facilities are not available.
Make sure to always test a sample for fastness before proceeding with the whole batch, especially since some fabrics may have special treatments that make them unsuitable for this process.
