Silk Screen Frames & Re-Stretching
Silk Screen Frames & Re-Stretching
Two specialist services, one family business. Whether you are equipping a new studio or breathing life back into worn frames, London Screen Service has been the trusted choice for screen printers across the UK and Europe for over 30 years.
Silk Screen Frames
We manufacture aluminium silk screen frames to order, hand-stretched at our workshop in London and Surrey. Every frame is built to perform, fitted with your specified mesh count and colour, and ready to coat the moment it arrives. From single frames to full studio setups, we produce to your exact dimensions and requirements.
What Sets Our Frames Apart
Built to Your Specification
We manufacture frames in any size from 30x30cm up to 250x300cm, with mesh fitted to your exact count and colour choice. Standard and fully bespoke dimensions are both available. Just tell us what your press needs.
Aluminium as Standard
All our frames are aluminium construction as standard, giving you a lightweight yet rigid profile that holds tension reliably over long print runs. No warping, no flex, no compromise on registration accuracy.
Arrive Print-Ready
Every frame leaves our workshop pre-fitted with mesh in yellow or white at the count you specify. There is nothing to do but coat and expose. No additional preparation, no waiting around.
Direct from the Makers
You are ordering direct from the people who stretch and build every frame by hand. No distributors, no third parties, which means tighter quality control and a faster, more personal service from enquiry to delivery.
Trusted Across the Industry
Screen printers, studios, and print houses across the UK and Europe have relied on our frames for decades. That kind of long-term trust is only built through consistent quality and dependable lead times.
High-Volume Performance
Our frames are engineered for the demands of production printing. Consistent tension across the mesh ensures accurate ink deposit, clean edges, and repeatable results run after run, job after job.
Re-Stretching Silk Screen Frames
A worn or slack frame does not have to mean a new one. Our re-stretching service takes your existing silk screen frames and restores them to the correct tension, with fresh mesh fitted to your specification. It is a practical, cost-effective solution that extends the working life of your frames and gets your screens back on press faster than ordering from scratch.
Why Re-Stretch With Us
Restore, Don't Replace
Re-stretching costs significantly less than buying new frames. If your aluminium profile is sound, there is no reason to replace it. We strip the old mesh, re-tension the frame, and fit fresh mesh to the count you need.
Every Size Accepted
We work with frames of all dimensions, from compact studio sizes right up to large-format press frames. There is no minimum or maximum. If it fits in our workshop, we can re-stretch it.
Fresh Mesh, Your Choice
Once re-tensioned, your frame is fitted with new mesh in yellow or white at whatever thread count your print work demands. We carry a full range of counts to suit textile, graphic, and specialist applications.
Returned Ready to Use
Frames come back to you correctly tensioned, cleanly finished, and ready to coat. There is no secondary prep work required on your end. Just drop them straight back into your production workflow.
Assessed by Experienced Hands
Before any work begins, we assess each frame for structural integrity. If a frame is beyond re-stretching, we will tell you straight and can quote for a replacement at the same time if needed.
Quick Turnaround
We understand that downtime costs money. Our re-stretching service is carried out efficiently without cutting corners, and we will always give you a clear lead time upfront so you can plan your production schedule.
