Two Carriers, One Flock Finish

Every colour in the range is flocked with 0.5mm viscose fibres, giving a uniform, high-density flock finish with a constant fibre length. Designs transfer cleanly without unwanted flock fibres remaining on the textile surface. The difference between the two formats is the carrier:

• Transfilm (Polyester carrier): Supplied for all colours except White and Black.
• Transflock (Paper carrier): Supplied for White and Black only.

Please ensure you select the correct application settings for the material type. Always conduct a test press on your specific fabric before committing to production.

What size are the 0.5 Mono heat transfer sheets?

Each sheet measures 51cm x 70cm, in all 14 colours.

What is the difference between Transfilm and Transflock?

Both carry the same 0.5mm viscose flock and produce the same flock finish. Transfilm uses a polyester carrier and is supplied in 12 of the 14 colours. Transflock uses a paper carrier and is supplied in White and Black only.

How do I apply 0.5 Mono transfers?

0.5 Mono is used to produce screen printed flock transfers. Print your adhesive onto the flock surface, apply hot-melt powder to the wet adhesive, dry the adhesive at below 80°C, clean off excess powder, then cure. Separate the motifs and heat press using the transfer settings specified by your hot-melt adhesive manufacturer.

Is it hot peel or cold peel?

Cold peel. Allow the transfer to cool fully before peeling the carrier away.

Are the colours Pantone matched?

Yes. Colours are referenced to Pantone® shades, from Lemon Yellow (109 C) through to Anthracite (432 C), so you can match artwork and brand guidelines accurately.

Which adhesive should I use?

We recommend our Foil Bond 40 Adhesive, a water-based adhesive formulated specifically for foil and flock applications.

Important: Care & Usage

Application conditions including temperature, pressure, press time, and fabric type will affect results. Always carry out a test press on your specific fabric and using your own equipment before committing to full production. White and Black are supplied as Transflock (paper carrier); all other colours are supplied as Transfilm (polyester carrier). Store in a cool, dry place away from light, and use within 36 months. We are unable to accept responsibility for garments or substrates damaged due to incorrect application.
