Arch Colours water-based screen printing ink system is 100% solvent free and environmentally friendly.
Ultra Metallic range of 12 premium colours are very easy to use and are perfect for printing onto dark toned fabrics, paper or card.
Arch Colours ink have all been pre mixed, so do not require a binder or another medium. Our inks also have a very low odour and are easily cleaned up with water.
Arch Colours ink has a rich intense colour across the whole of our product ranges and when printed they have an exceptional soft handle, giving brilliant prints with a high colour yield and an excellent wash and rub fastness. Ideal for industry professionals as well as those wishing to print at home, school, collage, in fact, anyone who enjoys being creative.
All inks are available in 3 different size containers, 250G, 500G, 1KG.
Arch Colours - Ultra Metallic:
Mesh - 32-61 (86-156)
Fixing - 2 1/2 - 3 mins @ 165C (330F)
Hand ironing guidelines:
2-3 mins @ 160C (320F)
5-6 mins @ 140C (285F)
8-9 mins @ 120C (250F)
The above fixing information is for guidance only. It is recommended that a sample is printed and wash tested for fastness before the whole batch is printed.
When printing onto paper/card, a finer mesh (somewhere between 90-120 (230-305)) should be used.
We recommend using a rectangular profile squeegee blade with a soft/medium 65-70 shore, a 3-4mm snap should also be used when printing.
Stencils will need to be made using a water-resistant screen emulsion.
Wash screens using water and mild detergent, all our products are 100% solvent free.
